Our second day in Brisbane takes place entirely in the CBD.

And therein lies a kindred spirit. Timed shots of Brisbane City Hall. Our (probably not intentionally) free wireless access area.

Bassets are always photogenic. The gorgeous General Post Office. An unfortunate group of Aussies get caught in Brisbane after dark and are turned into bronze. That explains the mass exodus from the CBD after 5pm.... Looking up from ANZAC Square. The Shrine of Remembrance

and its eternal flame. Historic Central Station. But I'm not sure how you're supposed to get into the store.... Another view of our wireless zone. One of the few places open after dark. Unfortunately, it's another Hog's Breath Cafe.

Some alien glider finds prime parking in the middle of the Queen Street Mall. Some interests transcend all national borders. The Casino is even more impressive at night. And it's got a current-day bank right across the street (although I'm sure they don't make you walk that far to get cash!)

The roos are still loitering. And this one's found a water hole. The back end of City Hall. Statue of Themis outside the Queensland Supreme Court building. And I finally find my way back to the hotel.
