Our second day in Brisbane takes place entirely in the CBD.

One complete and many more tiny prop roots. Duck races coexist peacefully amongst the pneumatophores. Hey--it's the path beside the boardwalk! More views across the Brisbane River.

Skyscrapers crowd around the gardens. Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Circle of palms. Swarming with ibises. Gathered at an artificial water hole.

Lunchers have a spectator. Philip stalks a peacock. I just let it walk past. View across the pond. Philip spots "Morning Star II" (oddly enough, by an American artist).

How cool is this? A floating cinema! The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). Looking down the Brisbane River. Fun triptych of urinal art. Exterior of the Queensland Art Gallery.

Buildings are no longer required to be shorter than City Hall. The former Land Administration Building is now the Casino's Hotel. Philip is helplessly drawn to the Conrad Treasury Casino. Cyber-roo! Even they like to loaf.
