Three weekend events.

Andy Warhol's "Chelsea Girls" plays at the Castro Theatre.  Marquee shot. And the box office chalkboard confirms the only showing of the day. And on Saturday, a picnic in Alamo Square. And a nice public building: the Ida B. Wells High School. Buena Vista (closer hill) and Mount Sutro (in the distant center).

St. Ignatius in the distance. University of San Francisco campus opens up in the distance., Another shot better centered on Buena Vista. Nice postcard row. View into Japantown from Alamo Square.

Alta Plaza and the fateful apartment building. Nice mirror-image Victorians. Gwen likes this door trim. And, thankfully, not the wallpaper. And then on Sunday, we come across a nice entrance to the Presidio with great views of the bay!  This is one of the views.

Landscape version of previous.  Note the Palace of Fine Arts rotunda and the Marina district. Nicely framed view of Marina district and Alcatraz. Zoom-in of previous. One of the nice view homes, enjoying our current view every day! Fort Mason (beyond the huge brick building).

Another casualty of high winds. When did I gain the ability to identify a sitar case?
